Dr. Dan Wang completed her PhD in Public Health from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK, Hong Kong SAR), with a research specialization in geriatric epidemiology and urban health. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (Southern Medical University, China) and a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CUHK). In order to inform evidence-based prevention and rehabilitation strategies, she has developed research interests in extensively exploring the potential factors contributing to functional wellness, frailty, and disability. Having joined the CDPR team in September 2019, she has primarily worked on 1) a CCRF funded project in understanding health care utilization for musculoskeletal disorders and disability in Canada; 2) a project collaborating with the Cochrane Rehabilitation in systematically identifying potential criteria attributes of outcome reporting in RCTs of rehabilitation interventions.
