The main objectives of the Epidemiology of Disability and Rehabilitation Domain are the following:

Investigate the etiology and course of disability related to musculoskeletal conditions and mental health disorders from a biopsychosocial perspective.

Evaluate the effectiveness of clinical and community-based rehabilitation interventions for the management of musculoskeletal conditions and mental health disorders.

Advance the methodology used to conduct randomized controlled trials and systematic reviews of the literature in rehabilitation.
